For Nina Presman, creating a better approach to aging wasn’t originally a business idea. It was personal.
After immigrating to the United States from the Soviet Union at 15, Nina struggled with rapid weight gain and an eating disorder before discovering strength training during recovery. That discovery transformed her life, leading to bodybuilding and an extensive education in fitness and sports nutrition.
After nearly 15 years of maintaining a lean, muscular physique, Nina’s body unexpectedly began changing in her mid-30s. Stubborn pockets of fat developed on her back, upper arms, chin and neck despite disciplined nutrition and exercise. Her face became heavier, her jawline less defined, and she no longer felt comfortable in her own skin.
Determined to find an answer, Nina tried numerous aesthetic treatments and underwent three liposuction procedures. Dissatisfied with the results, she kept searching.
In 2012, Nina discovered sound-wave body-contouring technology and saw improvement where years of diet, exercise and surgery had failed. She knew immediately she had found her next calling.
Nina changed career paths, obtained her aesthetics license and invested everything she could into the technology. Her exceptional results eventually led to consulting in equipment development. Years of research, experimentation and hands-on experience followed, ultimately leading Nina to develop her own proprietary approach combining Acoustic Lipolysis with HIFU—the foundation of the Anti Aging Center of Boca and her signature Non-Surgical Facelift.
Nina believes the combination of her personal struggle with an eating disorder, bodybuilding, sports nutrition, psychology, aesthetics, her own battle with genetically driven fat accumulation, and years spent developing aesthetic technology gives her a perspective that cannot be learned from a textbook alone.
Today, at 63, Nina says she looks better and feels younger than she did at 43. The stubborn fat that once covered her back, upper arms, lower face and chin is no longer there, and the facial heaviness that once changed her appearance has been replaced by a defined jawline and tighter-looking face and neck. After spending years searching for a solution for herself, Nina ultimately became living proof of the approach she developed—and has since brought that experience to thousands of clients.
Her confidence in her work is reflected in an unusual business philosophy: clients are not charged upfront; they pay after their procedure, once they have seen their immediate result.
“Everything I went through—the struggles with my own body, the things that didn’t work, the education, the setbacks and developing this technology—made me who I am today. I didn’t develop this because I was looking for a business. I developed it because I needed an answer for myself. Now I get to give that answer to other people.”
